Whether you’re a book trailer maker, an author, or a book lover, you’ve seen the good ones, the bad ones and everything in between. Book trailers have come a long way in the last ten years. What started as slideshows and iMovie silliness has become a cinematic form and it continues to evolve in fresh and exciting ways. Hard to imagine what the 2030 listicle will look like! Thus, we’ve barely scraped the creative surface of this new storytelling form that merges literature and cinema!

To come up with the 10 best book trailers, we asked our friends at Trailershelf to pick their ten favorites of the decade. Which is effectively all-time since book trailers are still a new thing.

The list includes bestsellers and books that have since been adapted to television and film. The selection includes Film 14 book trailers, other book trailer companies and indie filmmakers.

Take a look at these trailers to see if you agree!
