Seventeen-year-old Felken Adalwulf lives with his neglecting uncle after the death of his mother, and the murder of his father. The family has a secret among their small, German village: they’re werewolves. Felken is the only one who can’t maintain a consciousness while changed, and after a girl is killed by his hands, he starts to question what sets him free from his basement prison. Felken soon comes face to face with the dangerous creature he was always warned about as a child, but as his attachment grows, things spiral out of control.
