The talented Bryan Brousseau has directed several book trailers, including a popular trailer for Katherine Howe’s Conversion. Now he leads us into vampiric realms with a YA Book Trailer for Bella Forrest’s A Shade of Vampire.
The Twilight comparisons were inevitable. Forrest’s tale has been coined, “a blend reminiscent of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Twilight’”(Faerie Tale Books) or “Avatar meets Twilight”. Yet the million-bestselling first installment of A Shade of Vampire manages to stand out from the crowd. It has over 7,600 five star reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, as well as some rave reviews:

Bella Forrest transports you into a story with many defining moments and an unlikely set of heroes. In a narrative world overrun with supernatural creatures full of angst, A Shade of Vampire puts a new spin on a crowded genre.

Sofia and Derek have a chemistry that cannot be denied. Move over Bella and Edward and make room for Sofia and Derek! A Shade of Vampire is unique, passionate, thrilling, and full of intrigue! A blend reminiscent of “Beauty and the Beast” and “Twilight”, this story grabs you from page one!”

This new cinematic book trailer offers a sexy, shadowy glimpse into a meeting between kidnapped teenager Sofia, and a stunning and dangerous vampire prince, Derek Novak. It’s sure to swiftly turn Twihards into Shaddicts, and intrigue any teens with a taste for dark fantasy romance.

For those hooked by the first vampiric installment, there are a further 15 books in the series. Forrest’s latest, A Shade of Vampire: A Wind of Change, comes out on the 30th August 2015.

There’s also a push from fans for a full-length cinematic version of A Shade of Vampire, with Imagine Film List asking readers to vote for their ideal cast. Striking actor/model, Zach Karem, from our book trailer, remains a favorite for Derek Novak.
